Substance Use Recovery Center

Sometimes called detoxification units or rehabilitation units, these are facilities where
people who require medically supervised detoxification from alcohol or drugs, can be
admitted. Detoxification generally can be completed within a few days to a week, but
then a person may continue treatment during the rehabilitation phase which can go for
weeks. These programs can vary from 30 days to 45 days to 90 days.
